How to Identify Your iPhone and iPad via iOS
If you are unsure of what iOS device you have you can find the name of your device in the settings app. Use the steps below and the images on the right to assist you in identifying your device.
Indentify your device:
1. Go to Settings App on your iOS device
2. In the settings app go to the General section
3. In the General settings go to the About section
4. Here you will find a list of information about your device including; Model Name, Model Number, and Serial Number of your device
5. This will allow you to accurately inform one of our specialist technicians which model of iPhone or iPad you have
How to Identify Your Apple Mac via MacOS
One of our specialist technicians may ask for the model number or serial number of your Apple Mac to allow them to answer any questions you have about any of the Apple Mac repairs we carry out. You can use the steps below to find the serial number or model number of you Apple Mac.
To find the serial number of your Apple Mac:
1. Click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen. This will open a drop down menu
2. Click the About This Mac section which will bring up a new window
3. In this window you can view all the tech specs of your Apple Mac as well as import idetification details such as the name of the device, the year of release and Serial Number of your Apple Mac
4. This can be used by you and one of our specialist technicians to identify the model of Apple Mac you have
To find the model number of your Apple Mac:
1. On the bottom of your Apple Mac you can find the regulatory markings of your device
2. In the regulatory markings you will find the model number of your device
3. The model numberbegins with an A and is followed by 4 numbers

Model Number Locations if Your Device is Struggling to Operate
iPhones:
With older iPhones you can find the serial number and model number printed on the back of your iPhone, near the regulatory markings. On newer iPhones you have to pop out the SIM tray and you will find either the serial number or model number etched on the inside of the chassis. For all iPhones it’s also on the original packaging, next to a barcode label. The model number begins with an A and is followed by 4 numbers e.g. A1901. You can use this model number to identify the device you have.
iPads:
You can find the serial number and model number printed on the back of your iPad, near the regulatory markings. It’s also on the original packaging, next to a barcode label. The model number begins with an A and is followed by 4 numbers e.g. A1675. You can use this model number to identify the device you have.
Macs:
You can find the serial number and model number printed on the underside of your Mac, near the regulatory markings. It’s also on the original packaging, next to a barcode label. The model number begins with an A and is followed by 4 numbers e.g. A1466. You can use this model number to identify the device you have.
